As it was time for some changes we have decided to close down the regular gungame server as it made no sense paying so much for 100 tickrate when it was not being used as often. Instead we will take that money from that server and use it for 2 lower quality 66 tickrate server and still only be spending half. As much as we enjoy the zero lag on that server, we dont feel its worth that much to pay at this time.

With that in mind, say hello to the first server Gungame Deathmatch!

The third server will come at a later date when the regular turbo closes down, which is April 6th. Also we are still deciding what to do with it.

I have also lowered the monthly goal for donations to reflect the new changes. This is including the third server when we get around to adding it.

Our friends over at www.2darkpark.com have a new regular CS:S server Please show some support and help them out populate it. They are running a vanilla map rotation for now, so if you are in a mood for some good old reg CS jump on over!

Thank you all who went to make February the best month GG has had for donations! It was the most people who donated in a months span in all of GG's 4 years. It just goes to prove that if everyone donates even a little it adds up, and no one person has to foot the whole bill. All monthly payments were paid 100% by donations for this next month. Something everyone should be proud of.

Its truly highly appreciated, and a great help. Thank you for supporting the community.

Welcome to the new GG site!

I felt it was once again time for yet another facelift on the site. As much as i liked the other design it was time for a change.

Much of the site should work just as the last one. A few things are being worked on, so if they aren't working now they soon will be.Next step will be for me to re-skin the forums to match. However the old styles will still be available if you rather use them.

With the new design came some update code for security, and a new addon of the paypal script which is handy to track donations. Hoping this will help entice more people into donation. So whos name is going to be first to appear!?

Yesterday GG celebrated its 4th year running. It was a late cold December night when it was created. So that me and Kris would have a home to call our own, and be able to play with friends we have met over the years of playing Counterstrike.

At the time I started GG Kris was on her way to Iowa from Arkansas on a bus to start a new life on her own for the first time. She was nervous, but excited about it all, so I wanted to ease some of the tension of that with creating a place for us to have fun with. GG was my surprise to her.

I first started with a simple CS 1.6 server which quickly filled up with many friends who came out to support our venture. Later that night I took one of my domains that I owned and placed forums and a site up and it all began to fall in place.

GG wasn&t a clan at first, and didn&t become one until almost a year later. We started off as a community first as we feared falling into most clans problems with drama. I gave people I knew and trusted admin and we quickly gain traffic thanks to our friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. When GG became a clan, many of those friends joined and we continued to grow. Since then we have gone from 1.6 to CS Source to Gun Game mod.

Many people have come and gone thru GG&s doors, but our morals, ideals, and dedication have always stayed the same. To run a fun, mature, and friendly server.

After 4 years I must say thank you to many people who have helped along the way to make this a place I am proud to be a part of. Thanks to all our members and regulars that have made this one hell of a place to be! There have been many bumps along the way, but all worth it in the end thanks to you. Much love to you all <3!

It felt fitting for me to wait to the day after, because it wasn&t till after all the dust settled from that first day I realized the potential that the future held for this community, and I knew then GG would be special.

Happy Birthday GG, wishing you many more!
